The solar plexus chakra is the third chakra in the human body and is represented by the color yellow. This chakra governs our ego and personality and is where our gut feelings come from.
Located above the navel, the Sanskrit name for the solar plexus is Manipura. Mani means “gem”, and pura or puri means “city”, which translates to the “city of jewels.” So think of this chakra as our personal treasure center of power and well-being.

According to Yogic teachings, this chakra gives us a clear sense of who we are and our purpose. More specifically, the solar plexus chakra is your body’s energy center for confidence, positivity, motivation, and drive.
When your solar plexus is balanced, you feel confident and in control. You can stand up for yourself and your beliefs and have a strong sense of self-worth.
When this chakra is out of balance, you may feel powerless and have trouble asserting yourself or setting boundaries. Further, you may compulsively use substances or addictive behaviors to numb or avoid negative emotions in order to gain a sense of control.
5. Practice meditation and visualization techniques to help balance the chakra
